Biography

Laurie Haspel Aronson is the President & CEO of Haspel, a family-owned, fourth-generation business of menswear started by her great-grandfather Joseph Haspel, Sr. in 1909 in New Orleans, credited with inventing and popularizing the seersucker suit.  Today, Haspel is sold at the nation’s top men’s retailers and at haspel.com.  Laurie is also the President & CEO of Lipsey’s, a family-owned sporting goods wholesaler, and is active on several community boards, both locally and nationally.
