Biography

Chef Meg Bickford’s father is from New Orleans, Louisiana, and her mother from “up the Bayou” in Larose, making her a “Cajun Creole Mutt.” After graduating from the John Folse Culinary School, she was hired by Commander’s Palace Chef Tory McPhail.  There, she worked her way up before landing the honored gig as Commander’s Palace’s first-ever female sous chef. She became their first-ever female executive chef when she took over the kitchen at Café Adelaide & the Swizzle Stick Bar.
