Biography

Dan Bright grew up in New Orleans’ Florida Projects during the 1980s, one of the most violent times in the history of the city. At age 27, he was wrongfully convicted of murder and sent to the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola to be executed. A world-renowned civil rights attorney and the former lead juror on Dan’s trial helped shed light on prosecutorial misconduct behind his conviction and after nine years in prison he was exonerated.
