Peter Cooley
Biography
Peter J. Cooley, Louisiana Poet Laureate, has published nine books of poetry, most recently Night Bus to the Afterlife. A native of the Midwest, he has lived over half of his life in New Orleans, where he is Senior Mellon Professor in the Humanities and Director of Creative Writing at Tulane University.
