Biography

Curtis Manning, Ph.D., is a professor of History at Nunez Community College in Chalmette, Louisiana, after having previously served as Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Interim Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs.  He is also the Executive Director of the Louisiana Institute for Higher Education and wrote The History of Higher Education in Louisiana. Before higher education, Manning worked and lived in the former Soviet Union, primarily in Ukraine.
