Biography

Christina Vella received her Ph.D. in European and United States history from Tulane University in New Orleans where she was recently Visiting Professor. She has been a consultant for the United States State Department, NPR, PBS, and the History Channel. Her most recent book is George Washington Carver: A Life. A biography, Ataturk and the Unveiling of Turkey, is in publication. She lectures widely on a variety of subjects.
