Biography

Philip Melancon’s professional life has four interests: First, he owns the legendary Neutral Ground Coffeehouse in New Orleans, Louisiana. Second, he is and has been the piano player in the Bayou Bar at the Ponchartrain Hotel since 1992. Third, he has written and performed over 60 different cabaret shows. Finally, he still dips his toes into the world of children as a storyteller and performer…because ”toe tickles are good to have when ya need 'em.”
