Brobson Lutz

Brobson Lutz, a proud son of Athens, Alabama, graduated from Tulane Medical School. He was Director of the New Orleans Health Department under three mayors beginning in 1983. In addition to private practice in internal medicine, he has a weekly WVUE-TV health segment and a monthly column in New Orleans Magazine. His work after Katrina has been chronicled in the Wall Street Journal and several books. Lutz enjoys the New Orleans culinary scene but despises pasteurized crabmeat from Asia, pre-peeled frozen shrimp, and over-iced Sazeracs.
