Mandy Mikulencak has been a writer her entire working life; first, as a newspaper reporter, then as an editor and PR specialist in the nonprofit sector and for the UN. She is the author of The Last Suppers, a novel about a female prison cook in 1950s Louisiana. Library Journal called it “a haunting study of race relations, compassion, and mystery.” Forgiveness Road, her second historical novel from Kensington Publishing (March 2019), is set in 1970s Mississippi.
