Keith M. Plessy

Biography

Keith M. Plessy is a New Orleans native and a descendant of Homer Plessy. In 2009, Mr. Plessy joined forces with the descendant of the judge his ancestor sued in the infamous Supreme Court case, Plessy v. Ferguson. As President of the Plessy & Ferguson Foundation, he takes great pride in sharing the remarkable history of Homer Plessy and the Citizens’ Committee and their efforts to put an end to segregation laws in the South.
