Carl Bennett

 

Biography

Carl Bennett is the director of the Louisiana Livestock Brand Commission, which is responsible for maintaining the state's official livestock brand registry and oversees criminal investigation of livestock theft. Bennett first came to the commission in 2008. Prior to his appointment as director, the former U.S. Marine was a Louisiana state trooper for 28 years. He also served as a felony investigator for the district attorney of the 22nd Judicial District.
