Free wheelchair accessible parking is available in the south parking lot of the State Library (enter from N. 3rd Street) and in designated spaces at the southeast corner of the Capitol. See our overview map.

On the day of the festival, those with special needs may request on-site transportation at either of the LBF information centers. Sign language interpretation is available upon request at the information centers. Service is limited and will be provided on a first come, first served basis.

Book-loving volunteers are essential to the Louisiana Book Festival's success. Whether it's escorting authors, guiding visitors, selling refreshments, working with children in the Young Readers Pavilion or other fun and rewarding assignments, the Louisiana Book Festival wants you to join the volunteer team.
