André Moreau
Biography
Emmy Winner André Moreau earned the 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award from Louisiana's Association of Broadcasters and a month later delivered his final TV newscast for statewide Louisiana Public Broadcasting. He anchored sports for his first decade on air and then, in just five years, transitioned to anchoring news in a Top Ten market. After ten years in Los Angeles and San Diego, WAFB called him home in 2008. His reporting of the coastal crisis and the politics of hurricanes have earned him praise.
